Your Opportunity

The Area Manager (Project Manager) will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture project. Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the project's timely completion, cost management, safety protocols, and quality assurance.

This challenging role demands strong leadership skills, enabling you to motivate and guide a large team of engineers and supervisors. You will be required to manage a complex sub-contractor environment, prioritizing tasks, and making informed decisions to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing team to achieve project objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Maintain open communication with stakeholders, including the client, sub-contractors, and internal teams.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and control project costs, identifying areas for optimization.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a similar position on a large, complex infrastructure project.
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and networking skills.
  • A strong ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • An analytical mindset, with a focus on problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent industry experience.
