**Job Opportunity**

Are you a technical expert with a passion for driving the energy transition? We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join our team and contribute to shaping Australia's energy future.

In this role, you will lead engineering and analysis to define technical requirements for distributed energy resources (DER). You will work alongside a talented team at the forefront of the industry's transformation, delivering leading-edge projects and initiatives.

  • Lead projects to address power system challenges from increasing DER, including standards, compliance, and evolving behaviors.
  • Drive collaboration and stakeholder engagement, providing strategic advice to support an integrated approach.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to develop company positions on technical requirements.
  • Prepare reports, recommendations, and presentations that translate complex technical issues for executives, boards, and external stakeholders.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior staff, and supporting key initiatives under the Engineering Roadmap to 100% Renewables.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Technology, or Science/Maths (with a power system focus), or equivalent relevant discipline or work experience.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary projects in distributed energy.
  • Skilled in preparing, reviewing, and finalizing high-quality technical documentation and reports.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret and summarize complex data and insights.
  • Effective communicator (written and verbal) across diverse audiences and stakeholders.
  • Proactive, outcome-focused, and able to build constructive relationships.
