The role of Healthcare Leader in Custodial Settings is a high-level position within the healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the delivery of patient-centered healthcare services across adult prisons and youth detention settings
- Drive reform and strategic improvement in multidisciplinary teams
- Makes a meaningful impact on health and justice outcomes in Queensland
This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to health and justice outcomes in Queensland while leading one of the most unique roles in the health system.
You will bring senior leadership experience in health service delivery, ideally in custodial, primary, or preventative health, alongside demonstrated capability managing large operational teams and clinical governance frameworks.
As a key member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to adults and young people in custody. This will involve working closely with multidisciplinary teams to drive reform and strategic improvement in healthcare delivery.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on health and justice outcomes in Queensland. You will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of healthcare strategies that promote better health outcomes for adults and young people in custody.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and motivate others. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
