We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior FX Sales Professional to join our growing FX Sales coverage team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and fostering relationships with Institutional clients, leveraging your knowledge of the FX, Rates, Commodities & Fixed Income market to provide bespoke workflow solutions and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Pricing and trading products including Foreign Exchange, Precious Metals, Fixed Income and Derivatives across G10 & EM.
- Leverage knowledge of Deutsche Bank's e Commerce product and trading relationships to provide clients with tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Present investment ideas and opportunities to Global Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Central Banks and other Institutional clients.
- Work closely with the trading team across Spot, Forward, Options, Segregated Execution on optimization and analysis of client flows.
- Perform regular client reviews and visits with proactive follow-up.
- Liaise with our counterparts in Legal, KYC and credit with onboarding new relationships.
- Minimum 5 years experience working in a similar role with a track record of developing and fostering FX relationships in Tier 1 Investment Bank.
- Existing relationships with Institutional client base.
- Extensive knowledge of the FX, Rates, Commodities & Fixed Income market including skills in structured products.
- Focused on deliverables and willing to put in required sales effort to help the desk grow the flow business.
- Good local market knowledge.
- A sense of how macroeconomic developments, be they slow moving or instantaneous, could be beneficial for the largest sophisticated investors.
- Entrepreneurial skills to prioritize resources to maximize outcome and value for client.
- Comfortable in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Able to demonstrate the ability to navigate complex organizations.
- Derivative and Workflow Solutions knowledge are preferable.
- Advanced with respect to quantitative skills and have the ability to interpret business and economic data and assess the implications of both with regards to client requirements.
- Driven and dedicated to help the team succeed.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to interact and engage with regional/global teams.
