Expert Mental Health Practitioner

The role of a Clinical Psychologist involves providing clinical and behaviour assessments, interventions, and support to individuals with complex needs. These may include those with developmental trauma, neurodevelopmental disorders, and mental health issues.
Working in this field requires a high level of expertise and understanding of individualised treatment plans. The successful candidate will have experience working with diverse populations, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other neurodiverse conditions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify individual needs;
- Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans to promote positive outcomes;
- Providing regular support and guidance to clients and their families;
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting as required;
Requirements for the role include:
- A tertiary qualification in Psychology and full registration with AHPRA;
- Clinical Psychology endorsement or eligibility to complete this;
- Experience working with individuals who have complex needs, particularly those with developmental trauma, neurodevelopmental disorders, and mental health issues;
- Current driver's license and ability to obtain necessary clearances.
