Job Title: Theatre Storeperson

The theatre storeperson is a vital role in the smooth operation of healthcare services by providing timely and efficient supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Picking, packing, and delivering stock orders.
  • Receiving and unpacking supplies.
  • Supporting theatre departments by ensuring adequate stock availability.
  • Preparing reports to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Assisting in the handling and storage of sterile stock according to AS4187 standards.
  • Following up on back orders, alternative products, and time-sensitive stock.
About You:
  • Previous experience in a supply or stores role with hospital supply knowledge highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of AS4187 standards for handling and storage of sterile stock.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Sound computer skills, including MS Office, with SAP and RF Scanner experience desirable.
  • A positive team focus and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

This entry-level position requires flexibility with shifts and prioritisation of competing demands.
