The theatre storeperson is a vital role in the smooth operation of healthcare services by providing timely and efficient supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:- Picking, packing, and delivering stock orders.
- Receiving and unpacking supplies.
- Supporting theatre departments by ensuring adequate stock availability.
- Preparing reports to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Assisting in the handling and storage of sterile stock according to AS4187 standards.
- Following up on back orders, alternative products, and time-sensitive stock.
- Previous experience in a supply or stores role with hospital supply knowledge highly regarded.
- Knowledge of AS4187 standards for handling and storage of sterile stock.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Sound computer skills, including MS Office, with SAP and RF Scanner experience desirable.
- A positive team focus and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
This entry-level position requires flexibility with shifts and prioritisation of competing demands.
