We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Maintenance Officer for our facilities in Dubbo. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance services which include identifying and carrying out preventative maintenance, repair and improvement works to the buildings, grounds and equipment in accordance with day-to-day and preventative maintenance schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a high-quality maintenance service to ensure that the physical environment is neat, comfortable, safe and hazard-free.
  • Identify and carry out preventative maintenance, repair and improvement works to the facilities buildings, grounds and equipment.
  • Work autonomously as well as function as a member of a broader team, and have a strong customer service focus.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • LR Drivers Licence (or working towards)
  • A positive 'can do' attitude
  • Professional, enthusiastic and friendly manner
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as function as a member of a broader team
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Experience as a general maintenance officer
  • Be passionate about providing quality care to residents
