The role of Production Assistant is crucial to the success of our Defence Maintenance Contract (DMC). This position involves undertaking administrative tasks and providing support to tradespersons in a workshop environment.
This opportunity requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point, as well as experienced in using databases. They should also possess strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external equipment owners.
About the Role:
- Provide administrative support to tradespersons in the workshop
- Assist with ordering and receipting of repair parts
- Identify continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency
- Utilize Commonwealth managed systems for specific tasks
- Assist with planning and scheduling of maintenance activities
- Conduct office administration duties
