Heavy Equipment Operator Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our mining team. The successful candidate will operate a range of heavy machinery, including articulated dump trucks, and work closely with loaders to transport ore and waste across the site.

About the Role:

  • Operate a variety of heavy machinery, including articulated dump trucks
  • Work closely with loaders to transport ore and waste across the site
  • Tipping product into ore passes or on ROMs
  • Completing pre-shift checks and ensuring equipment is safe for operation
  • Communicating effectively using two-way radios for clear and safe communication
  • Following all site safety protocols and conducting risk assessments

Requirements:

  • Current manual driver's licence required
  • Previous operating experience is highly desirable
  • QSEC card preferred but not essential
  • Ability to pass a low-risk medical assessment
  • Commitment to safety and teamwork
