PACU and Anaesthetics Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the PACU and Anaesthetics department. This role will involve performing duties within our Operating Theatres, working as part of a collaborative and team-orientated environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical and clinical support to the Anaesthetist during induction, maintenance, and emergence from anaesthesia. Additionally, they will respond to unexpected outcomes and use problem-solving skills to respond to emergencies in the Perioperative department.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Providing technical and clinical support to the Anaesthetist during induction, maintenance, and emergence from anaesthesia.
- Responding to unexpected outcomes and using problem-solving skills to respond to emergencies in the Perioperative department.
- Compliance with all legislative requirements in the workplace including occupational safety and health acts and workers' compensation.
- Relevant registration with AHPRA as Registered Nurse.
- Minimum three (3) years in a hospital nursing role essential.
- Previous experience in the specialties of Anaesthetic & PACU is essential.
- Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient.
- Exhibits exceptional customer service and time management abilities.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required.
