Visualisation Technology Officer

This is a fixed-term, full-time role that involves working on sustaining the technical operability of visualisation facilities and associated systems. The successful applicant will interact with University members, contracting clients, and stakeholders.

The position requires you to participate in continual technology uplift and improvement initiatives within the team. You will need to demonstrate experience in providing technical support in audio-visual and/or IT environments, knowledge of audio-visual and/or IT hardware and software platforms, and problem-solving skills.

You should have:

  • Education, training, or experience equivalent to an associate diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing technical support in audio-visual and/or IT environments.
  • Knowledge of audio-visual and/or IT hardware and software platforms.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.

Additional requirements include:

  • A high standard of written and verbal communication skills.
  • An ability to connect and collaborate with colleagues and work in a team.
  • Ability to plan and organise work according to priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain desired outcomes.
