Obstetrician Career Opportunity

Grampians Health Services provides high-standard obstetrics and gynaecology management to patients in the region.

You will work closely with other members of the team, including midwives, nursing staff, allied health professionals, and junior medical staff. You will participate in birth suite consultant cover, maternity antenatal clinic, and the obstetric on-call roster as rostered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating session as per agreed weekly timetable to cover obstetrics and gynaecology patients on the waiting list.
  • Obstetrics: Participate in birth suite consultant cover, maternity antenatal clinic, and the obstetric on-call roster as rostered.
  • Supervise and teach junior medical staff in obstetrics.
  • Gynaecology: Participate in gynaecology clinic, on call consultant duties day and night as rostered, including care of emergency gynaecology patients.
