We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages, interacting with customers, and contributing to the overall ambiance of our café.
Key Responsibilities:- Coffee Preparation: Brew and serve a variety of espresso-based beverages (lattes, cappuccinos, mochas, etc.), filter coffees, and other specialty drinks with attention to detail, consistency, and speed.
- Latte Art: Master the craft of pouring beautiful and consistent latte art, ensuring every drink is a visual and flavorful masterpiece.
- Customer Service: Greet customers with warmth and professionalism, taking orders, answering questions, and providing personalized recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Knowledge Sharing: Educate customers about the coffee beans, brewing methods, and the unique qualities of each beverage, creating a memorable and informative experience.
- Quality Control: Ensure that each drink is made to the highest standard, including maintaining consistency in flavor, temperature, and presentation.
- Maintenance and Cleanliness: Keep the coffee bar, equipment, and café area clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times. Follow health and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow baristas and management to maintain a positive, efficient, and supportive work environment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies, beans, milk, syrups, and other ingredients to ensure the café is always stocked and prepared for service.
- Coffee Knowledge: A deep understanding of specialty coffee beans, brewing techniques, and espresso-based drinks.
- Barista Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a specialty coffee shop or similar fast-paced café environment is preferred.
- Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with customers and provide outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: A strong eye for detail in both the presentation and quality of beverages.
- Multitasking Ability: Ability to work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak hours.
- Passion for Coffee: A genuine passion for coffee and a desire to continuously learn about new coffee trends, brewing techniques, and industry innovations.
