Aviation Maintenance Professional

Job Opportunity:

  • Airport ASIC security ID and Airside Driver's License are mandatory.
  • Acceptable Mechanical, Structural, and Avionics certification/qualification/experience are highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform aircraft and component maintenance, modification and troubleshooting in accordance with regulatory requirements is required.
  • Proven ability to work in a close knit team environment is essential.
  • Understanding of aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and documentation is necessary.
  • Working knowledge of WH&S procedures is vital.
  • SAAB 340 experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience on transport category and/or turbo-prop aircraft is beneficial.
  • Flexibility with working hours is expected.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on aircraft and aircraft components and ground equipment within a maintenance team.
  • Work in line maintenance and aircraft heavy maintenance environments is required.
  • Perform modifications and troubleshooting in accordance with regulatory requirements is essential.
  • Meet deadlines and maintain a high standard of work is expected.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • High level of motivation with a team-focused work ethic is essential.
  • Ability to obtain an airport ASIC security ID and Airside Driver's License is required.
  • 7-day shift roster flexibility is expected.
