We are seeking a Strategic Land Development Director to drive rezoning and major development initiatives from concept through to approval.

This role involves navigating complex planning frameworks, shaping strategy, and engaging with stakeholders at the highest level. If you have a passion for unlocking the potential of land and influencing the future of our communities, this is your opportunity.

The Role:

  • Shaping rezoning strategies – Prepare and deliver Planning Proposals and rezoning applications.
  • Leading the process end-to-end – Manage projects from acquisition through rezoning approvals, budgets, consultants, and reporting.
  • Driving stakeholder engagement – Build trusted relationships with councils, government agencies, landowners, and community groups.
  • Managing risk & feasibility – Provide insight on planning risks, legislation changes, and development potential.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Urban Planning, Property Development, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years' experience in development with a focus on rezoning and planning approvals.
  • Deep knowledge of NSW planning legislation, frameworks, LEPs & SEPPs.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A proven track record of securing complex planning approvals.
  • Work on high-profile rezoning and strategic land-use projects shaping communities.
