Job Opportunity

We are recruiting an experienced chemist to join our team in Perth, Australia.


Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize mass spectrometry analysis and liquid chromatography method optimization using automated tools and established processes.
  • Coordinate LC-MS/MS support, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.
  • Contribute to our quality management system by preparing standard operating procedures and laboratory support including equipment ordering and calibration.
  • Develop new analytical methods and improve current capabilities.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our technical team to design and implement automation and data processing solutions.
  • Develop new methods and improve current analytical capabilities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline such as chemistry.
  • Extensive computer literacy including Microsoft Office.
  • Produce accurate documentation and report analytical activities and results clearly.
  • Highly motivated and dedicated individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new techniques and processes quickly.
  • Plan, schedule, and carry out work effectively for successful project completion.

Preferred but not Essential
  • Experience working with LC-MS/MS techniques in pre-clinical small molecule assays.
  • Knowledge of MassLynx, Analyst, or other mass spectrometry software packages.
  • Wider knowledge of analytical support in drug discovery and development.
  • Knowledge of DMPK/ADME assays within drug discovery.
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance on LC-MS/MS equipment.
