As a clinical leader in musculoskeletal and rheumatology physiotherapy, you will have the opportunity to provide high-value care to patients with chronic and complex conditions. Your expertise will be essential in optimising the use of your skills and driving evidence-based practice.

The role involves working at the top of your physiotherapy scope, providing leadership and championing the cause of your profession in multi-disciplinary environments. You will be part of a team that values creativity, human connection, and diversity.

This newly established Advanced Scope Physiotherapy role will see you providing Physiotherapy management within the Specialised Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal clinics. You will actively contribute to the development of these new clinics, supporting clients from the North and North-West of Tasmania.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-value care to patients with chronic and complex musculoskeletal and rheumatological conditions
  • Leadership and clinical governance within the Specialist Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal clinics
  • Contribution to the development of new clinics and services, including support for clients from the North and North-West of Tasmania
  • Professional development and research initiatives, including collaboration with other advanced scope and specialist physiotherapists

You will be required to be registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia and possess professional qualifications in the relevant area or progress towards a relevant qualification.
