Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity

Earnbus Foundation of W.A. is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to contribute to our mission of reducing the incidence of middle ear disease in Indigenous and at-risk children in Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop a comprehensive school-based intervention strategy and program for children affected by Otitis Media.
  2. Create an evaluation program for teachers to measure the difference in skills and abilities.
  3. Evaluate Earnbus processes and procedures relating to clinical visits and standards of quality care.
  4. Establish a risk management system to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  5. Participate in the Leadership team to ensure programs are delivered in accordance with our Values.
  6. Provide direct therapy services to clients as needed.
  7. Collaborate with clients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to establish functional communication goals and facilitate progress.
  8. Document evaluation findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and communication with stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Strong clinical skills in assessing and treating communication disorders in paediatric populations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Passion for helping families within a client-centred framework.
