Job Title: Project Manager - Engineering Initiatives

As a highly experienced project manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing large-scale engineering initiatives from concept to implementation. Your primary objective will be to ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project scopes, budgets, timelines, and resource plans; oversee procurement and supplier negotiations for equipment and services.
  • Lead cross-functional technical teams across design, construction, commissioning, and operational phases.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to manage project interdependencies and ensure smooth execution.
  • Track, report, and communicate progress on capital project plans, ensuring transparency and accountability across all levels.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, preferably within FMCG, manufacturing, or a regulated industry.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and drive change.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical problem-solver with demonstrated experience in root cause analysis and structured project delivery.
  • Experience managing and optimizing asset upgrade projects to deliver tangible business benefits.
