About the Role
As a Senior Hydraulic Engineer at Intrax, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering services to our clients. Your expertise in hydraulic and fire services design and documentation will be essential in driving the success of our commercial building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide expert advice to clients on engineering services, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  2. Lead the design and documentation of hydraulic and fire services for commercial building projects, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  3. Develop and implement specifications for hydraulic and fire services, ensuring compliance with Australian standards.
  4. Collaborate with project planners and utility application teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  5. Review and sign off on hydraulic designs, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
  6. Manage multiple building services hydraulic and fire designs simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines.


Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. A degree in Mechanical Services or a related field (desirable but not essential).
  2. At least 7 years of local Australian experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of Australian standards in mechanical engineering design.
  3. Proficiency in AutoCAD, with Revit experience an advantage. Familiarity with Hyena Software Calcs and Microsoft Office tools is also essential.
  4. Excellent communication and liaison skills, with the ability to convey complex information accurately.
  5. Registered Building Practitioner or Chartered Professional Engineer status would be an advantage.
