Aircraft Maintenance Professional Structures Position in Northern Territory

Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) - Structures opportunity has arisen in Darwin, NT. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in undertaking aviation maintenance activities to meet the needs of Airbus Australia Pacific (AAP) and their customers.
This position reports to Team Lead Component Deeper Maintenance, through respective Aircraft Technical Leads, responsible for all ARH Structural maintenance activities undertaken by the Darwin Maintenance teams. You will be primarily responsible for performing ARH Deeper Maintenance activities while also conducting Off-aircraft maintenance and supporting operational units in Industry-specific tasks such as advanced structure repairs, aircraft and component modifications.

- Diploma Aeroskills (Structures) or equivalent issued by a Registered Training Organisation
- High-Level aviation airworthiness regulatory knowledge and its applicability in the relevant environment
- Understanding of relevant aircraft maintenance documentation and practices
- Experience in an Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) environment
- Knowledge of and experience using Interactive Electronic Technical Publications (IETP)
- Have obtained, in the judgement of the relevant Responsible Manager and the Company, sufficient experience on type to support a successful application for maintenance task authorisation at the appropriate level
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction
The following experience would also be beneficial: Knowledge of and experience using CAMM2, complex composite repairs including Carbon Composites, Defence ARH Type rating Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence B1.3 with Structures inclusion.
You must be eligible for an Australian Government Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance and have the capacity to satisfy pre-employment medical screening which may include drug and alcohol testing.
