Job Summary
The Senior Staff Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology will play a crucial role in upholding the hospital's commitment to delivering high-standard Specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology services. This position will support the Clinical Directors in achieving this goal.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical expertise and guidance to medical staff in Obstetrics and Gynaecology services.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of education and training programs for medical staff.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and services.
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with AHPRA.
- Enrolment and maintenance of ongoing CME program of appropriate College.
- Extensive clinical experience with appropriate knowledge and skills extending across the range of Obstetrics and Gynaecology services.

- $244,248 - $258,910 p.a. (L25 – L27)
- $204,206 - $237,196 p.a. (L18 – L24)
