Project Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to take on the role of Senior Project Engineer and lead major projects in our portfolio. This is a chance to work with a business that values technical excellence, career development, and team culture.

The Role

In this key position, you will play a crucial part in delivering complex civil projects across South Australia. Working closely with experienced Project Managers and Site Supervisors, you will oversee technical coordination, quality control, and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities

  • Leading engineering input across planning, design, delivery, and close-out phases
  • Managing technical specifications, documentation, and compliance with project standards
  • Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to achieve key milestones
  • Supporting the development and implementation of safety, environmental and quality plans
  • Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and delivery partners
  • Reviewing and preparing documentation such as Work Method Statements and ITPs

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in a Senior Project Engineer role within civil infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, safety legislation, and project controls
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ambition to progress into Project Management
