About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Co-worker at IKEA. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving customer queries, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the friendly face of IKEA, greeting visitors and providing welcoming, effective, and efficient information to customers.
  • Drive the IKEA Family Reward Keys loyalty program sign-ups and uptake by highlighting the benefits and rewards to customers.
  • Support other areas of the Customer team, including resolving customer service queries, maintaining shopping tools, and processing returns.
  • Manage cash, card, and finance option payment transactions with accuracy and a friendly demeanor.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice on IKEA products and services.
  • Record information accurately in our customer database system to continuously improve the customer shopping experience.
Requirements
  • Possess strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Be able to remain calm under pressure and proactively find solutions to challenging situations.
  • Have excellent communication skills and basic computer literacy.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing or retail environment is preferred.
