The Registered Midwife is responsible for delivering exceptional care to women and their families during one of life's most transformative moments. You will work in a dynamic team environment, providing woman-centered care that reflects our commitment to equity and respect.
This role involves working with compassion and excellence, advocating for every woman, especially those from Indigenous and multicultural backgrounds. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of women and their families.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. They should be able to provide clear guidance and support to patients and colleagues alike.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife (Division 1)
- Demonstrated recent experience and clinical skill in midwifery, including completion of a new graduate year or equivalent experience in Midwifery
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work effectively
- Demonstrated evidence of providing woman-centered care
- Effective communication skills - written and verbal
- Commitment to professional development
- Ability to work a flexible roster, day, evening, or night shift across all days of the week according to unit/service requirements
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment
