Strategic Sourcing Manager for Digital Transformation

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our team and lead the implementation and management of sourcing activities for the Digital category. This role will engage with stakeholders to focus on delivery of value, innovation, cost reduction, and mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and support initiatives that reduce costs, waste, and unproductive practices
- Support category spend visibility and insight through available data
- Actively engage with stakeholders throughout the strategy development and sourcing execution process, ensuring alignment of objectives to build a clear understanding of business requirements for third-party goods and services
- Manage sourcing activities, prioritizing and rebalancing against business objectives
- Owner of and responsible for the development of the total cost of ownership strategy, identifying opportunities to leverage value or mitigate risk from changes in markets (e.g., technology developments, supplier consolidation)
About You and Your Skills
Our ideal candidate will have interest and understanding of the technology landscape, as well as previous experience working on system integrations, technological transformation projects, and software licensing. You will also have:
- Related tertiary qualification, ideally with commerce, supply chain management, law, or property category
- Competent in Ariba, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and e-procurement tools/systems
- Highly developed commercial experience, gained in other large commercial/FMCG/Retail enterprise/banking/consultancies
- Strong business acumen and negotiation skills gained in major projects and contract negotiations
- Deep value chain management knowledge, including the ability to look for value beyond savings via efficiency and quality benefits available through technology
