Job Title: Carpenter Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter Specialist to join our team and deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced workshop environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing and installing high-quality cabinets and furniture components, adhering to the highest standards of quality control and precision.

About the Role

The Carpenter Specialist will work closely with other trades and project managers to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication. Key responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting technical drawings and work orders to determine job requirements;
  • Selecting and working with various materials such as timber, veneers, particle board, MDF, and engineered wood products;
  • Operating woodworking machines and tools, including CNC machinery, to assemble parts and form sections of cabinetry and furniture;
  • Installing finished cabinetry on residential and commercial sites, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols;
  • Applying finishes such as sealants, lacquers, or other coatings as required;
  • Fitting hinges, runners, handles, and other hardware components to complete the installation process;
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment, promoting a culture of quality and excellence;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and meet customer expectations.
Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of recent experience in carpentry or cabinetmaking;
  • Strong technical skills, with expertise in operating woodworking tools and machinery;
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under pressure;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Fluent English language skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
