The Role

We're seeking a Merchandise Analyst to manage our end-to-end inventory cycle, ensuring inventory meets sales demand and promotional requirements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Analysing and reporting on store and product performance and profitability against target for the assigned category
  • Monitoring in-stock levels, advertised lines, slow-moving stock, and inventory mix, identifying and resolving issues and escalating for resolution as required
  • Maintaining in-stock position to meet demand through accurate forecasting of unit volumes and supplier stock availability, and monitoring and review of replenishment parameters
  • Closely monitoring inventory levels, proactively identifying anomalies and taking corrective steps to ensure stock levels meet demand and category and promotional plan
  • Raising and allocating orders on assorted items, promotional orders, and following up with suppliers to ensure inventory is delivered on time to meet in-stock targets and promotional plan
  • Providing administration and coordination support to the category team and acting as a key point of contact for stores and suppliers, including range maintenance, product registration, and invoice pricing changes
