About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Merchandise Planner to join our Dotti Planning team. As a key member of our commercial planning team, you will work closely with Product Managers to drive business growth and maximize financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage department financial plans, collaborating with the Product Team to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Build and implement assortment plans to achieve department financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial projections, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide feedback to product design and sourcing teams on merchandise volume and attributes, driving business growth and profitability.
  • Conduct pre- and post-review analysis, presenting findings and strategies to drive business improvement.
  • Optimize stock levels and weeks' cover, focusing on aged stock reduction and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with the Inventory Management team to ensure stock levels are optimized for sales and profitability.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in merchandise planning, with expertise in sales forecasting, budgeting, option planning, and inventory management.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive business decisions.
  • Excellent commercial and business acumen, with a passion for retail and a drive for results.
  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel and other business tools.
