About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Regional Refurbishment Manager to oversee the delivery of reinstatement and refurbishment projects across our retirement villages in Victoria.

  • Manage end-to-end project management duties, including property inspections, budget estimating, documenting scope, tendering, contractor engagement, and client-side management of contractors.
  • Deliver high-quality and timely projects while working with stakeholders to ensure a high standard of work.
  • Create scope and specification documentation, distribute tenders, and assess bids from contractors.
  • Ensure safety and compliance of contractors and suppliers on site.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Management: Manage the reinstatement and refurbishment of units and apartments across several allocated villages, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
  2. Client-Centric Delivery: Deliver projects as part of the resale process with the end customer in mind, meeting their expectations for quality and timeliness.
  3. Tendering and Contract Administration: Create scope and specification documentation, distribute tenders, and assess bids from contractors to secure the best outcomes for the organization.
  4. Safety and Compliance: Ensure the safety and compliance of contractors and suppliers on site, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in project management and contract administration, preferably in residential fit-out, refurbishments, and renovations.
  • Certifications: Current driver's license essential; technical or tertiary qualifications in property management, project management, or business studies desirable.
  • Skills: Outstanding organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a time-sensitive environment, excellent communication and computer literacy skills, and excellent time management skills.
