About the Role:

As a Marine Technician with the Australian Defence Force, you will be part of a dynamic team that works on a wide range of Army Marine Equipment. Your role will involve inspecting, repairing, modifying, and reconditioning this equipment, as well as undertaking mechanical and engineering training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair the Army's fleet of marine equipment
  • Work with specialized teams on advanced Vessel HVAC, electronic, and hydraulic systems
  • Participate in vessel operations as part of a crew
  • Conduct safety and technical inspections on marine safety equipment and large vessels
  • Perform general soldiering duties, including manning defensive positions, patrolling, traffic control, and navigation
