Marine Equipment Specialist

About the Role:
As a Marine Technician with the Australian Defence Force, you will be part of a highly skilled team responsible for the maintenance and repair of marine equipment. Your role will involve inspecting, repairing, modifying, and reconditioning a wide range of Army marine equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and engineering issues with marine equipment
- Work with specialized teams on advanced vessel systems, including HVAC, electronic, and hydraulic systems
- Perform safety and technical inspections on marine safety equipment and large vessels
- Participate in domestic exercises, deployments, and humanitarian operations
- Contribute to the development of technical knowledge through specialist courses and training
