Job Responsibilities:- Message Development: Create engaging content that captures the essence of our mission and resonates with various stakeholders.
- Media Relations: Foster strong relationships with media representatives, pitch stories that matter, and maintain a prominent presence in the news cycle.
- Collaboration: Work closely with community leaders and policy teams to craft authentic stories that spark public conversations.
- Digital Presence: Enhance our organization's online presence across digital and traditional media platforms.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in PR, media, or communications, preferably within an Aboriginal, NFP, or government setting.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and content strategy skills to transform complex policy into captivating stories.
- Experience in media relations and advocacy campaigns to drive real change.
