About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in the Gympie region.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about improving the lives of individuals with communication disorders and swallowing difficulties.
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals.
- Provide therapy sessions to help patients improve their communication skills and overcome challenges.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for participants.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, progress notes, and reports.
- Educate and support families and caregivers on communication strategies and techniques.
- Stay updated on the latest research and evidence-based practices in speech pathology.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.
