Key Responsibilities- Provide expert and strategic legal advice to the management team on all business-related issues.
- Oversee the work of outside counsel and coordinate legal matters handled by them.
- Develop and lead a professional team of lawyers who provide quality advice and outstanding internal customer service.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Manage the legal functions of the company, including litigation, contract negotiations, intellectual property rights, and compliance issues.
- Develop and lead corporate legal strategy to promote and protect the company's interests.
- Foster a corporate conscience and set the tone of the company's ethical culture.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements.
- Advise on risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure appropriate corporate housekeeping and maintenance of records and stay updated on relevant legal developments and industry trends.
