We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team.
The successful candidate will provide finance support across various functions, delivering commercial insight and improving understanding of costs. They will help produce/manage annual budgets and rolling forecasts, facilitate decision making at all levels, keep costs under control, and contribute to continuous improvement across reporting and business processes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide monthly management reporting and insights to stakeholders at all levels.
- Oversee the delivery of accurate and complete financial results, including overseeing month end close.
- Improve financial acumen of business stakeholders and present information in a way to facilitate and influence decision making at all levels.
- Support the delivery of budgets as part of the 3-year annual planning process - includes leading the collation, analysis and presentation of information as well as managing the accurate submission into the finance system.
- Regularly review and improve financial processes.
- Contribute to the development and assessment of business cases and financial models.
- Review and challenge existing processes to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified finance professional with a strong background in accounting or a related field.
- Extensive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or Management Accounting.
- Proven track record of partnering with senior stakeholders to drive business performance.
- Strong technical expertise in accounting, reporting, budgeting, and planning.
- Ability to navigate complex financial landscapes.
- Well-organised, outcome-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- History of building trusted, commercial relationships and influencing senior leaders while managing challenging conversations when necessary.
