Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Bread Master to join our team. As a key member of our production staff, you will be responsible for preparing and baking bread loaves and rolls in accordance with set recipes and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare dough ingredients manually and with commercial mixers.
  • Monitor proofing conditions and baking temperatures to achieve optimal results.
  • Cut, mould, and shape dough into specific sizes and forms.
  • Operate and maintain baking ovens and other related machinery.
  • Ensure hygiene and cleanliness of the baking area and equipment in compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Check the quality of raw ingredients and finished products for freshness and consistency.
  • Store baking ingredients appropriately and manage inventory rotation.
  • Record production data and adhere to established procedures and timelines.
  • Work cooperatively with other bakery staff to meet production targets and customer demand.

Requirements:

  • AQF Certificate III or AQF Certificate IV required.
  • Minimum 1 year of commercial baking experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of baking methods and dough types.
  • Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety requirements.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and follow production schedules.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
