C&H Recruitment is seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our client's team in Rockhampton, QLD.
About the Role:- Painting mining equipment and structural steel with industrial and automotive paints
- Blasting mining machinery as required
- Apply protective coatings to various mining machinery
- Undertake safety and hazard assessments
- Working to a high standard and maintaining productivity
- Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application or similar
- Industrial painting / blasting experience (minimum 5 years)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, practices, and standards
- Experience working on mining equipment – highly regarded
- Forklift license – highly regarded
This is an ongoing casual opportunity with a strong view for permanency after the initial tenure. The successful candidate will be offered an hourly rate of $44/hr.
The role is workshop-based, Monday to Friday, with general hours from 6am-2pm plus overtime options. Our client is a leading maintenance services provider based in Rockhampton, QLD, with a strong presence in the Central QLD and Bowen Basin region.
