Agri Sector Liaison

The Bureau of Meteorology is seeking an experienced Agriculture Customer Lead to develop and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders in the agriculture sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and documenting a detailed understanding of weather, water and climate hazards/opportunities with respect to different agricultural sectors, regions and seasons.
- Identifying impacts to customers and developing processes to ensure those impacts are communicated through the Bureau's core communication channels, governments, media, and industry partners.
- Leading and contributing to the preparation of briefings, information packs and routine products to support agriculture decision makers.
- Owning a particular segment of the agriculture industry, including developing deep relationships with industry leaders, delivery partners and farmers, and informing the Bureau's strategy for new and modified agricultural services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication and project management skills, with experience in the agriculture industry or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
