The Role As a Warehouse Assistant & Seed Processing Operator, you'll support the movement, storage, drying, treating, and packaging of seed in alignment with processing schedules.
This is an active, hands-on position that requires attention to detail and a team-focused mindset.
You'll be part of a close-knit operations team, reporting to the site's processing manager and working collaboratively to meet seasonal demand and quality benchmarks.
Your duties will include (but are not limited to): Operating bulk seed dryers to maximise throughput and maintain quality Managing bulk seed storage and silos, including sampling and accurate data entry Loading and unloading seed using forklifts and trucks Treating and turning seed within set timeframes For a detailed list of responsibilities, a position description may be provided upon request.
About You You're reliable, practical, and enjoy working in an active environment.
You bring a background in warehousing, manufacturing, agriculture, or a related field, and you're eager to learn and grow.
To be considered for the role, you must be able to address the following criteria: Previous experience in warehousing, agriculture, or seed/grain handling (highly regarded) A current LF Forklift Licence, or ability to acquire one promptly Basic computer literacy for data entry and inventory tracking A current Driver's Licence The Benefits Narromine offers a laid-back country lifestyle with a strong community spirit, only 30 minutes from the regional centre of Dubbo.
