Community Engagement Specialist

The Australian Federal Police's Community Liaison Team plays a pivotal role in fostering relationships between the organization and diverse communities across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Community Building - Develop and implement community engagement strategies to build trust and address social cohesion challenges.
  • Collaborative Partnership Management - Cultivate collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders and manage complex partnerships.
  • Project Coordination - Assist in the development and delivery of projects to meet the strategic objectives of the Community Liaison Team.
  • Event Coordination and Administration - Provide effective and efficient coordination and administrative support for events and meetings.
Requirements:
  • Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
  • Negative Vetting 1 security clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
