Eligibility Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Eligibility Officer to join our team at Gallagher Bassett. As an Eligibility Officer, you will be responsible for determining the compensability of workers' compensation claims and communicating decisions to injured workers and employers.
Key Responsibilities- Determine the compensability of workers' compensation claims using claims legislation and case law
- Coordinate and obtain information from key stakeholders to support decision-making
- Communicate decisions and updates to injured workers and employers
- Investigate injuries to determine if they are work-related
- Make fair and accurate decisions on claims within 28 days
- Conduct investigations to ensure high-quality decisions
- Experience in a workers' compensation eligibility role, case management, or a similar position
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Receptivity to continued learning and training
- Investigative and evidence-based decision-making skills
