Healthcare Documentation Specialist

Clinical Documentation Coordinators play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of clinical documentation in aged care settings. We seek a skilled and compassionate individual to support our recent roll-out of new clinical technologies across our aged care homes.
This maternity leave cover role will see you working closely with our Director of Clinical Documentation and supporting the implementation of clinical documentation best practices. Your primary responsibility will be to mentor and educate aged care homes on clinical documentation as it relates to care funding, clinical care, and compliance outcomes.
As a Clinical Documentation Coordinator, you will work collaboratively with inter-disciplinary teams to drive continuous improvement across the organisation. You will provide relationship-centred care that ensures the dignity and respect of aged care residents and clients.
Please note the following essential qualifications and requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications (Bachelor or higher) in Nursing and AHPRA registration
- Two years post-graduate experience working in aged care
- National Police Clearance (obtained in the last six months)
- NDIS Worker Screening
- Evidence of 2024 Influenza vaccination (or be willing to obtain)
- Full working rights in Australia
- Driving licence and own transport
