The Site Operations Leadership Role is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the maintenance and engineering functions at a major logistics facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, support and mentor a team of engineers and technicians to ensure site operations are maintained in a safe, standard and efficient manner.
- Work with the team and wider network to leverage technical expertise and develop solutions.
- Support the implementation of safety and statutory compliance programs to provide a safe working environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve equipment availability through preventative maintenance.
- Organize training programs to ensure sufficient technical coverage for the team.
A Day in the Life:
As a Site Operations Leadership professional, you will be based at our major logistics facility and have the opportunity to lead your team, manage their performance and development, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
You will also have the chance to create operational plans to make the site more productive and efficient, which involves setting up new projects that improve everything from operational processes to equipment maintenance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a dynamic environment.
- Experience delivering leadership to a team of +10 direct reports with an emphasis on growth and development and team member engagement.
- Formal trade qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a degree in a technical discipline (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil).
