Maintenance and Engineering Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced maintenance and engineering leader to join our team in Sydney.

Job Description

The Maintenance and Engineering Manager will lead a team of up to 14, including maintenance supervisors and technicians. The primary focus is on maintaining site operations in a safe, standard, and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the maintenance team to ensure site operations are maintained safely and efficiently.
  • Work with the team and wider network to harness technical expertise and build solutions.
  • Support the implementation, recording, and auditing of safety and statutory compliance programs.
  • Implement network standards and focus on preventative maintenance to provide high equipment availability.
  • Ensure sufficient technical coverage is available for shifts by organizing training programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience delivering leadership to a team of +10 direct reports.
  • Formal trade qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a degree in a technical discipline.
  • Experience of automated equipment, including packaging machinery, sortation, and conveyor systems.
