Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Fire Services Engineer to join our team in Perth.
The ideal candidate will have experience in engineering design and calculations, with proficiency in software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
About the RoleThis role involves assisting the Fire Services Team with all project requirements, including preparing technical specifications and training junior staff.
The successful applicant will be an integral part of a highly capable and agile team of engineering professionals, with opportunities to lead the Fire Services division into new and existing markets.
Responsibilities- Engineering Design: Utilise design and modelling software to create detailed designs and calculations for fire services projects.
- Technical Specifications: Prepare comprehensive technical specifications for fire services equipment and systems.
- Training and Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to junior staff, helping them develop their skills and knowledge.
- Project Management: Assist in managing projects from start to finish, including site inspections and report preparation.
- Qualifications: Australian-recognised degree qualification in Mechanical or Fire Services, with National and/or regional registrations and qualifications preferred (CPEng, NER, FPAS or C14).
- Experience: Minimum 3 years' local experience in fire services engineering, with project team leading and local client consultation experience preferred.
- Skills: Demonstrated ability to engage with clients, consultants, authorities, and contractors; collaborative approach for working in a multi-discipline team; outstanding decision-making and problem-solving skills; ability to develop enduring relationships; and prior knowledge or interest in relevant legislative and compliance requirements.
