Our team is looking for a skilled professional to join us in a role that involves installing, servicing and maintaining fire protection equipment.

About the Role

You will be working out of our Perth office, attending customer sites to install, service and maintain various types of fire protection equipment. This may include hose reels, hydrants, extinguishers and other related products, as well as testing smoke detectors.

  • Servicing portable fire equipment on customer premises, recommending fire safety systems and equipment that meet Australian Standards.
  • Providing excellent customer service and advice to clients on site.
  • Using power tools to install and repair fire equipment such as extinguishers and blankets.
  • The opportunity to work overtime when travelling to remote sites.
  • Utilizing a Field Service mobile phone application to plan and organize your schedule.
About You

We are seeking an individual with a strong service mindset who enjoys interacting with customers. Previous experience in the Fire industry is preferred but not essential, as you will receive all the training required to perform your role at a high standard.

  • FPAS or Certificate II in Fire Protection is preferred or willing to obtain with in-house training.
  • A valid Driver's Licence.
  • A construction industry white card (or the ability to obtain one).
  • Experience in a similar role where you are responsible for basic maintenance and/or mobile service delivery is desirable.
  • An appreciation for excellent customer service and the ability to communicate effectively with clients on site.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • The ability to work away from home when required – Remote sites.
  • Demonstrating efficiency through prior time and route planning.
  • Ability to prepare written reports and quotations where required.
  • A proactive approach to teamwork.
