About the Role

LIMELIGHT PEOPLE is seeking an experienced Environment and Release Manager to join our team. As a key member of our IT Program, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration, stability, and availability of all IT environments critical to the success of the program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementing Engineering Standards: Setting and enforcing the minimum engineering standards required to reliably operate environments during delivery.
  • Collaborating with Platform and Delivery Teams: Engaging with platform and delivery teams to uplift engineering practices where required.
  • Designing Solution-Wide Observability: Design and establish solution-wide observability to enable program-wide visibility of service health and fast investigation of incidents and issues.
  • Implementing Incident Response Process: Design and implement an incident response process to remediate environment issues in integrated test environments.
  • Uplifting CI/CD Practices: Working with delivery teams to uplift CI/CD practices.
  • Developing Environment Strategy: Develop and maintain the IIA Commercial Enablement environment strategy in alignment with the Trans-Tasman strategy and ways of working.
  • Estimating Environment Costs: Estimate and track environment costs to inform program decision making.
  • Planning Environment Provisioning: Planning and sequencing of environment provisioning and integration.
  • Gathering Environment Requirements: Gathering environment requirements from program stakeholders and converting them into a environment design.
  • Designing Environment and Integration: Detailed environment and integration design for each shared environment.
  • Managing Sensitive Data: Working with our Risk and Cyber teams manage sensitive data in test environments.
  • Collaborating with Program Test Teams: Collaborating with program test teams to understand and implement their requirements.
  • Attending Stakeholder Workshops: Attend and contribute to program stakeholder workshops and meetings, keeping stakeholders appraised of progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Supporting Developers and Testers: Work collaboratively with all participants in software development projects and is supportive of developers and testers as they set up their build dev/test environments.
  • Driving Decision Making: Drive decision making and agreement on any trade off decisions within the agreed scope of the initiative, aligned to the agreed business solution
  • Facilitating Large Groups: Facilitation of large groups of multiple cross functional business areas in person and/or remotely
  • Managing Ambiguity: Manage ambiguity and educate to 'take people on the journey' of change required
  • Constructively Challenging: Constructively challenge and influence respectfully to ensure desired business outcomes are achieved for the initiative as per the agreed business solution
