Job Overview

The Product Line Manager plays a pivotal role in driving business growth by developing and executing product line strategies that meet customer needs and drive profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy Development: Develop and maintain comprehensive product line plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and sales targets.
  • Demand Forecasting: Analyse historical sales data, current trends, and seasonality to forecast demand and recommend replenishment strategies.
  • Assortment Planning: Collaborate with buyers to select optimal product assortments that meet customer preferences and maximise sales potential.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels across channels and locations, ensuring optimal stock levels and reducing out-of-stock situations.
  • Supply Chain Optimisation: Work with the supply chain team to optimise stock flow and manage lead times to ensure timely product availability.
  • Logistics Support: Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to support inventory management and delivery schedules.
  • Performance Analysis: Regularly review sales performance against targets and adjust plans accordingly to meet or exceed objectives.
  • Reporting and Insights: Provide detailed reporting on product performance, markdowns, stock turn, and other key metrics.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in product line management or a related role, preferably in fashion and retail. They will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and product planning software.
