Support Worker Job Description

About the Role
  • We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team.
  • The role involves providing support to our customers in their daily lives, including assisting with personal care, household domestic assistance, meal preparation, and accompanying them on shopping trips and appointments.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver high-quality customer service and support
  2. Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  3. Provide emotional support and companionship to customers
  4. Accompany customers on outings and appointments
  5. Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
  6. Prepare meals and snacks for customers
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Disability
  • Current Australian driver's license
  • Valid police check (national police certificate)
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
